Nervous Patients
At Ranford Road Dental Centre we understand that going to the dentist can be an anxiety-inducing experience. The good news is we take the time to gently reassure you that the care you receive will be completely comfortable.
We particularly encourage those patients who may only come in to see us when they’re in pain. If you need your hand held or even a hug, we’re happy to help in any way we can.
If you’ve been nervous about seeing a dentist, we will aim to set you up on a regular preventative care programme so you get accustomed to seeing us for care that is always gentle.
Helping You Relax
To help put you at ease before your appointment, we can give you a prescription for a mild sedative that you can take at home before your appointment. We also offer inhalation sedation that can help you relax, or alternatively IV Sedation when required.
