Teeth Whitening in Canning Vale
A brighter smile, on your timeline or ours.
Whiter teeth can be one of the simplest, most effective steps toward a smile you're confident showing off.
For some patients, it's the only cosmetic treatment they ever need. Over-the-counter whitening products rarely deliver much of a change, but professional-strength treatment does, with fast, predictable results at any age.
We offer two ways to get there: a fast in-chair treatment or a flexible take-home option. Which one's right for you comes down to how quickly you want results and how it fits your schedule.
Your teeth whitening options

In-chair ZOOM whitening
ZOOM is the industry leader in same-day teeth whitening. A specially formulated gel is applied to your teeth, then activated with a bright blue light that speeds up the breakdown of stain particles. The 20-minute treatment is usually repeated once or twice more in the same visit until we hit the shade you're after.

This treatment is conducted at our sister practice, Dentist WA Canning Vale — just up the road from us. Ask our team about our current Canning Vale whitening special: professionally whitened teeth in about an hour. Conditions apply, and eligibility depends on the health of your teeth, so book a consultation with us first.
Take-home trays
We fit you with custom trays that snap snugly over your teeth, much like an orthodontic retainer. Each day, apply a small amount of whitening gel into the tray's tooth reservoirs and wear it for at least an hour. You'll start noticing a difference within the first week, with full results by around day 14.

How to make teeth whitening last longer
Whitening isn't permanent.
Results typically last 6 months to 2–3 years, fading faster with smoking, coffee, red wine or other staining habits, and lasting longer with good oral hygiene.
Whitening can only be carried out on teeth that are healthy and free of infection.
What to consider before you book
- Is the condition of your teeth affecting your confidence?
- Which option — fast in-chair or flexible take-home — fits your budget?
- How does your schedule align with each option's timeline?
- How much of a colour change are you hoping for?
- Do you have any underlying dental or health issues we should know about?
We'll talk through all of this with you at your consultation before recommending the right path.

It's a safe treatment when done professionally, though some patients notice short-term tooth sensitivity, gum tingling, skin irritation from gel contact, or throat irritation if swallowed. Let us know if you experience any of these.
Typically 6 months to 2–3 years, depending on habits like smoking, coffee, red wine and how well you keep up your oral hygiene.
Cost depends on which option you choose and the condition of your teeth. Our in-chair special is $880 at Dentist WA (conditions apply) — get in touch for take-home tray pricing.
No — whitening only lightens natural enamel, not crowns, veneers or composite fillings. If you'd like restorative work to match a whitened smile, talk to us about your options.
It's generally not recommended for children under 16, anyone pregnant, or those with active gum disease or cavities. We'll assess your eligibility at a consultation.
